We had an uneventful trip from ABQ to Raton today about 220 miles. The Breeze did fine on the grades. The bigger challenge will be tomorrow as we will pull three steep grades.
The last bit of the trip was pretty windy. We planned on going 250 miles tomorrow to the west side of Denver. We may stop short if the winds kick up.
We have a beautiful mountain view and we have solved that heat thing. It is 70 here and the overnight lows are predicted to be in the low 40's. We will need the furnace in the morning!
Wow! When was the last time you used your furnace? Do you even remember where the switch is to turn it on? ;c)
ReplyDelete70's and 40's is what we are having and really enjoying here in Michigan although I hate our furnace and use little electric heaters to take the chill off in the morning. It's great weather for hiking and biking though.
ReplyDeleteNow that sounds like great weather! Colorado in the Summer sounds great!

That Raton Pass is a killer! We went up that way to Colorado in 2012, stayed at the campground at the top.
ReplyDeleteWell we know where the 90 degree weather is;o)) Sure sounds like a COOL place to spend the summer!!
ReplyDeleteThe temp sounds perfect. I think I would just stay there!
ReplyDeleteYup. That weather sounds about perfect :)
ReplyDeleteSeems like everyone likes temperatures in the 70s - me too!
