We had dinner with my cousin on Sunday night- that was very nice. We had not seen each other in 30 years. We had a good meal and got caught up on each others lives.
It has been extremely hot the last couple of days-104,106. It will be 108 today. So, we watched some Redbox movies in the afternoons. We liked "The Wolf of Wall Street" but did not care for "Blue Jasmine". Today, we will see mom again and get packed up for departure on Thursday- headed for higher and cooler ground.
The heat can slow us all down. But it sounds like you had a nice visit with Mom.

I think they should start paying your mom for all her work! Nice that she found something to keep busy with. :c)

yep we are bugging out of Lakewood NM today and heading to the Sandias for week - 108 predicted here so time to go...

Great picture of your mom. Glad to hear she is back to helping out. You'll feel better about heading out of the heat. Triple digits is way beyond my tolerance dry or not. :-)
ReplyDeleteWow... that's some real heat!!! Hard to believe a couple months ago things were still cold. Mom looks good in that photo... glad she has tasks to occupy her time and her mind:-)
