The trip started in Moab and went through Dead Horse Point State park and into Canyonlands National Park.
It turned out to be a great activity for the afternoon. It was very windy and most of the trip we were blocked from the wind. Well, except the wind created by the boat :). It was a little pricey but we all enjoyed it.
We had a great guide and it was fun to see the canyons from a different perspective. We packed up and headed out for the 250 mile trek to Red Canyon RV park- just outside of Bryce National Park. Wow, what a change. The temps were in the 60's when we arrived and our overnight low was 38! We will enjoy these temps for the next couple of days as the rest of our trip will be much warmer- like hot.
Enjoy those cool temps.....it's very warm and muggy here in FL.
ReplyDeleteBryce Canyon is an amazing place. Enjoy the cool weather, sounds wonderful and perfect for hiking the trails there.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures from the water. Bryce is unbelievable. Glad it's cool enough for you to get down in there and hike. Guess it wasn't too hot in Moab or you would have said. Nice to know late June is an OK time to go there.
ReplyDeleteWe saw there were float trips in Moab but missed that there were jetboats.
ReplyDeleteNice shots from the water...If there was only a way to make the jetboats silent :)
ReplyDeleteBryce Canyon is on my bucket list so I'll be looking forward to your posts and pics.
ReplyDeleteThat river ride sounded like fun - sure got some great photos!
