We have seen our "mama" deer a couple of times. She looks like she is nursing a fawn but we have not seen it yet. Since there is some grass in the pastures and the temps have not been as hot, she will keep any babies tucked away in the brush. Last year, we saw the babies at a very young age because they came closer to the house in an effort to keep cool.
We will be here for a week and then we will head to San Antonio. It is great to be home for some much needed R&R.
Time to decompress from all those difficult decisions. Enjoy!
