Slow Sunday- Cookie Recipe

Yesterday, We were finally able to sleep in a little bit.  I went out to the grocery store and Starbucks about 8:00.  As I was driving back, I noticed one of Catherine's favorite things
She loves pizza and really loves Mellow Mushroom. We decided to go there for lunch.  They have some of my favorite things too..a great list of beers on tap.
We usually get a spinach calzone but decided to try the mushroom pizza- several different kinds of mushrooms. 
It was really good.  We spent most of the day just puttering around Phiona- moving things, organizing, and putting up pictures- making her a home :)  


We did find the service manager and let him know about the near miss.  He said they really can't stop people from driving around, on their own.  I suggested they try harder to make sure everyone has an escort.  The switch for the air horns is now in the "on" position - just in case. We will probably accidentally hit the horn and scare someone out of their shoes :)

Phiona goes off to chassis today and the Tiffin guy assured me on Saturday that they would get her TV cables replaced.
We have a few very minor things added to the list but not too much.  

I got the cookie recipe from another blog by "Laurie and Odel". They are off the road after 9 years of travel. So, they no longer blog, but here is the link to the Banana Oat Cookies. 
They are really easy to make and very good. We leave out the raisins.

    You leave out the raisins? That's the best part of that cookie!

    I hope the Tiffin guys tell you what the problem was with the TV cables. I'm still thinking they used a switch to save running 2 cables and that won't work with satellite.

      It is the output HDMI that is the problem. I think they are running too long a cable- HDMI does not like long cables.

    Pizza and Beer! That is a perfect Sunday. We have never been to a Mellow Mushroom. There is one in Phoenix so we may have to try it out ase we pass through.

    Thanks for the recipe. I'll add the raisins. Maybe even some other dried fruits which I love.

    David is a Mellow Mushroom Pizza fan. Actually we are just pizza fans period.

    Just make sure to turn off the air horns when you're parked. My late dog jumped up on the driver seat when we went out for a walk and leaned on the horn button, and leaned and leaned. We couldn't get back fast enough.

    Kind's ruined the sounds of nature in the campground for a few minutes... :cO

    That really seems like a lame answer to the driving problem. I guess it will take a bit of a smashed RV to get them to do something. Just keep that horn armed!!
