Making Progress

Princess Phiona

 Princess Phiona is coming along.  She has been in the service bay for three days.  Last on the list is a problem with the slide skin on the bottom.  This will be fixed under Tiffin warranty. Then she has to go to chassis to have Tyron bands installed, (they help you keep control in case of a blowout). And we need the valve stems on the back tires turned so we can actually air them up if needed :). The only big issue was the front jacks.  The tech said they have had to replace quite a few of them but they have no further problems, after it is done.

 We will be here until middle of next week.  

We managed to get appointments (after some begging) with the physician we used to see here in Tampa for check ups.  Who knew it takes months to get a doctor's appointment?  Not us.  We will plan better next time.  Anyway, we can get that done and be checked out for another year.  Our appointments are August 3.  So, we will hang out in Tampa for another few weeks. Then we will probably go home to Texas, get Phiona all registered and just relax for a while.

We picked up our mail from a friends house.  Catherine got the transcripts she had been waiting for from the state of Florida. Now she can apply for her Texas massage therapy license.

Then we decided to visit some friends.  David is in the hospital for a stem cell transplant. We arrived just as he was getting some music therapy.

We got to enjoy the music and enjoyed our visit with Sherry and David.  They both look really good.  It is a difficult procedure, but they are taking it in stride - doing everything they can to make sure David has the best possible outcome. It was great to see them.
We have got to get going and get out of here so Phiona is ready for the technicians.  See you down the road....
