It is time for us to move on. We will head back to Garden City for about a week and then to San Antonio. Catherine is attending a 25th anniversary party for her good friends Jahnnette & Jason. She was the maid of honor at their wedding.
Then it is on to ..... Tampa. Why Tampa, in the midst of heat and hurricane season?
We have been in touch with Lazydays via email, for the last couple of months. We have been looking for a used Phaeton. We now have a deposit on one that is due to arrive in the next couple of weeks. We will be going to Tampa to check it out!

ReplyDeleteWow new rig! I'd love to hear why you chose a Phaeton and what about your current rig made you decide to change. River is falling so things are fine for now, as long as some other Debby doesn't show up with a name like Edgar or something. We'll be just up the road when you get here.

DeleteAwesome, Phaetons are a really great motorhome. Had our dealer carried Tiffins when we bought our Journey, it might have been a different story. Of course, the dealer took on the Tiffin line the next year.
ReplyDeleteJust inspect the wet bay very carefully, there has been a recall on the wet bay compartment floor. Tiffin originally buiilt them with a plywood floor and they rotted out very quickly. Tiffin has been replacing them at the factory no charge. Hopefully the one you're looking at will have had this upgrade already done.
