We Are Off and Running....
With all our minor coach and truck issues now solved, and cooler weather, I could have easily slept late today. However, we were committed to run a 5k with our nephew. Aunt duty calls. So, up and at em! It was a little cool at the start but the sun came out brightly and it was a really nice course to run. Christopher won his age group and Catherine place 3rd in ours. My time was not great but, I finished without pain in my ankle for the first time since I sprained it in July. It was all good

It was not a very competitive race but we are hoping the first place finish will build Christopher's confidence.We would really like to see him stay involved in running. No big plans for the rest of the day - just hanging out. See you down the road...
Congrats to you all. Anyone who finishes is a winner in my book but to place now that is AWESOME!! Ya'll do grow some tall ones out there I like the young nephew towers over the auntie (and that's ahhntie not annntie). :-)
