A little break in the afternoon

 My mom was having a pretty good afternoon yesterday so, we decided we could sneak off to the local winery for a short visit.  St. Clair Winery has been operating in Deming since 1984.  They make some pretty decent wines.  They also have a number of bistro locations throughout the state.



 It was such a nice day that we decided to sit on the patio for a bit and enjoy a glass. We watched some hummers battle over a feeder and just enjoyed the moment.   This is where St. Clair makes all its wine so at this location they offer bulk sales.  You can buy wine by the 1/2 gallon and bring back your jug for a refill for $6.25.  We brought our jugs and filled up on" Dry Red."
After we got back to the house, Catherine stayed with mom and I helped my brother move some equipment on the farm.
It was a very enjoyable afternoon.

    Wine by the half-gallon in refillable jugs? A guy could get in real trouble living near there.

    Glad you were able to get out and enjoy yourselves. Red wine is supposed to be good for your health. You appear to be stocking up. Wise move!

    Looks like a nice winery. Refills by the 1/2 gallon? I know where we are stopping each time we pass through Deming. So glad you both could get away for awhile.

    Great idea getting out and enjoying some 'us' time. You need to take care of yourself so you are able to take care of Mom:o)) Dry Red Wine will help out also;o))
