We would really rather keep her here, but it may not be the best fit for her. They are giving her so many meds here to keep her calm that she is really out of it.
We about had our minds made up to move her. Then yesterday evening she seemed to be doing a lot better. So, we are still one day at a time. We will see how she does over the weekend.
We also got to see our niece who was coming through Deming on business. She is a claims adjuster for Progressive. It was great to see her again.
It has been pretty hot here but not too windy. It is cooling to the sixties at night, which is nice. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
The farm looks like a good place to rest your soul as you make these important decisions. Take your time.
ReplyDeleteWith my internet problems I've been a little behind with reading blogs. What decisions you've had to make recently! I fear another move may be in your mother's future. Been there. It's not an easy time for anyone involved. :(
ReplyDeleteVisiting with your niece and helping your stepbrother are good distractions to get your mind off of things for a little while.
ReplyDeleteHope she gets to stay closer to "home" so perhaps family can visit more easily. It's hard to know what is "best" for all concerned with this disease.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear there are some fun things for all 3 of you. Love the idea of Grace running with the big dogs. Made me smile! The little kid always wants to run with the big boys.
I'm with Gail... take your time. Adjusting takes longer as you get older. Wish there was an easy solution, but know you are doing what is best for mom and for you. Good that you find some enjoyment to help relieve your stress.
