Yesterday,  we drove to nearby Big Spring and walked through the state park.  It is a good place to walk and from the top of the hill there is a great view of the surrounding country.  You can see the big wind turbines off in the distance. It  is quite a bit greener, than it was the last time we came up and walked. the big wind turbines off in the distance. 

Catherine spotted this cactus that has new growth on a leaf that was previously dying from the drought- pretty cool.

 After our walk, we came back to Garden City and watched the Women's BB games.  They were both good games.  Today, we are moving stuff in the house. We have to take the rig into Odessa tomorrow, to get our fridge repaired.  It has been acting weird for a couple of weeks and now is giving an error code and will not come on. We will probably have to leave it at least overnight.  :(
At least it happened while we were house sitting, and we have a place to stay. See you down the road...
