Yesterday, as we took the dogs for a walk, we spotted another Texas Horned Lizard. It could be the same one, but I think this one is bigger than the first. We enjoyed a great meal and good conversation, with our friends last night. We had thunderstorms until about 12:30 and got about .65 inches of rain. It was a beautiful, cool, morning. After a wonderful pecan waffle breakfast, we headed out to Davis Mountains State Park. We are now in our full hook up site, with cable and Wi-fi. (good thing because we have no Verizon signal- I need to get that trucker antenna).
We plan on some hiking, and visiting Ft. Davis and the Macdonald Observatory. See you down the road....
Really interested on your thoughts of this area, we had to blow past on our trip east. We wanted to stop, but time was pressing us onward.

We're behind you by about a week and a half +/-. Looking forward to seeing a bit of west Texas before heading into NM. It sounds like we'll be glad we bought the antenna/amplifier set up a few months ago :)
