Yesterday, we visited the new Lazydays location here and looked at some rigs- nothing we had to have - some things to think about. Last night, our friends gave us a tour of their community. It is a very nice adult living community-3 restaurants, 3 fitness centers, 5 pools- classes and clubs for any interest. They really love living here (again,something to think about :)
After the tour, we drove up to the town of Oracle and enjoyed dinner at the Oracle Inn. Oracle is a mining town in the Santa Catalina mountains founded in the 1880's. The Oracle Inn was a hangout for Buffalo Bill, and Annie Oakley.
In later years, the area was the setting for many movies and Tom Mix and John Wayne tilted back a few brews at the Oracle Inn.
There are numerous photos and artifacts all over the restaurant. In addition to colorful history, they also serve a pretty good steak.
We are meeting our friends for breakfast and then will head back to Deming. It has been a great visit, and we will absolutely be spending more time in this area. See you down the road....
