We Survived!

Our rally ended yesterday and most participants rolled out this morning.  It was a good time. But, it was a lot of activity in a short time.  We got good evaluations on our rally. We are really pleased especially since it was our first time hosting.  We went to see the 12 Irish Tenors on Saturday. I was worried because we picked it from the web without knowing too much about it. It was a great show.  They sang a huge variety of songs and were very talented.  There was a little "cornball" humor thrown in- but not too much.  Everyone enjoyed it. 
It was really good to see our RVW friends again.  We made plans to join some of them in Port Aransas, TX for the month of February. It fits in well with our spring travel plans and it is a fun group.
Overall, it was a good rally and everyone seemed to have a good time.  The only mishap was a sudden storm that blew through and damaged a couple of awnings -one was ours:(  Oh well, it still works. So, we will just add it to the list of things to be fixed later this fall.   We had planned to pull out today but we were dog tired.  We decided just to clean the rig, do the laundry and chill out today.  Tomorrow we head for Eureka Springs.  See you down the road....

    You both are braver than me, hosting a rally! I thought when you hit the road fulltime, you're supposed to relax.

    It is really nice of you to host the rally and give others a great time, I'm sure it took a lot of hard work to make it come out perfectly. Just goes to prove what we know already, you are special people. :c)

    You didn't say your were HOSTING!!! You are braver than I.

    But Yay! You'll be in Port Aransas in Feb! Which is right next door to Rockport :) Looking forward to seeing you both!

    I didn't know you were hosting the rally. WOW! When in the world did you have time to do all that planning? I'm not at all surprised that your evaluations were good.

    Way to go!! You two are amazing, but I thought you were RETIRING ;o)) I am sure everyone had a great time. So nice of you to do that for everyone.
