Colaw RV Salvage

 We were scheduled to leave Branson on Tuesday.  However, we got a call from one of our RVW friends who stopped by the RV Salvage place on I-44.  She said they probably had the awning arm we needed-used.  She also said they had some other good stuff.

 We decided to check it out on Tuesday and head for Eureka Springs Wednesday.

We checked out the salvage place.  It was OK. But, I did not see any great deals on anything. It would be a good place to try if you need a hard to find part for an older rig. They did have the parts for our awning arm-new. And, we got to see where old RV's come to die.  Other than that, it was not that exciting.
 We had the RV medic come over this morning and put the parts on.(I did not have the right tools.)  So, the awning is all fixed up. I also had the oil changed in the truck and got a brake light bulb replaced.  So, we are fully operational again.


We headed out to Eureka Springs and made the short 70 mile drive in about 1.5hrs.   We are set up in our 50 amp site.  Another 100 degree day today :). We are hoping it is the last one of the season.  We will veg in the rig this afternoon and then head into town for dinner.
