Visit with Family

Yesterday, we drove up to Lubbock to visit my nephew, Matt, and his family.  It has been a long time since we have seen him and we have not had the opportunity to meet his wife and children.
He cooked some steaks on the grill for lunch.  We enjoyed our lunch and our visit.  He has a nice home and three beautiful daughters.  It was really nice to meet them.  The older girls (4 years old) are twins and chatted throughout lunch! I hope we have the opportunity to see them more often. 

We don't have many plans for the next few days - just getting our water pump repaired and getting ready to head out next weekend.  

Right now we are planning some blueberry pancakes for breakfast.....

    I've been reading your blog since you were preparing to hit the road, but just realized I never signed on as a follower! Blueberry pancakes and meeting new family. Sounds like a great way to spend the weekend...
