As I was trying to get another picture of the deer, I spied this woodpecker on the tree and snapped a shot. We get lots of great birds: scissor-tailed flycatchers, orioles, hummingbirds, quail, and lots more. It is a great place to be - if we can just get through this heat wave.
We got our extension cord this morning and were able to move the rig into full shade at least until about 12:30 pm. That will help a bunch.
Our animals are getting along pretty well. Grace still does not know what to make of Walter and he goads her into trying to start something (probably so he can finish it). As you can see, Walter is a big kitty.
Have a great weekend everyone. See you down the road..
I used to have a cat that would do that to Sage... Just torment her until she retaliated and got in trouble! Glad you found some shade!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what's up with the weather this spring. It's been very hot up in New York State too! I'm sure nothing like what you're going through though. Hope being able to move into more shade will help.
