Did it Fit?

Just about :)   We got almost everything in.  We decided we did not need some of it after all. We decided a few more things needed to live in the truck.  And, we made firm rules.  If not used in six months to a year- it goes!

I sure hope when we pull the jacks up and push the gas pedal that the coach actually moves.  It has never been loaded like this since we have had it.

We spent our first night as full timers.  I did not sleep that well but nothing to do with the RV.  I could not seem to unwind from the day of moving.  Today we get the u-haul, loaded.  Tomorrow close on the house and probably hit the road. Might stay one more night just to settle things in the RV a little more.  We will see.
See you down the road....

  2. I just got rid of a few more things and there's more to go. I have them stashed so well, I forgot I even had them! Guess I didn't need them after all.
Hope you sleep better tonight. Try a nice glass of wine before bedtime ;)

  4. So glad you're finally 'getting there'. We just made the jump the end of May. . .& of course, we STILL have too much stuff. Another culling is in order. But OH, the sense of freedom is too fantastic for words. Your 'pain' will SO be worth it!

  5. I'm so excited for you! We've been working out of the rv for about 9 months now as we transition to fulltime. We're finding that things keep rearranging for some time and we keep swapping things back and forth to the house. Just be patient and things will eventually settle... At least WE hope so!

  6. It never hurts to pull everything out at least once a year, (six months is better), and decide what stays or goes. We still have a storage locker for that stuff we can't make up our minds about, but hopefully this will be gone in a year or so too.
    Congratulations on getting free!

  8. Maybe I was lucky to be sick the first few days. Two Nyquils and I was out like a light each night. I found it amazing all the places to stow things. I'll bet you'll have everything put away before you know it. (But I changed things around a few times.) Have Fun!
