Down to the Wire...

We are down to the wire.  And it turns out, that there is some stuff you can't even give away.  This morning, we were down to one room with stuff going in storage,stuff headed for the RV, a big old entertainment center, and an ancient washer and dryer which does not match.  Matching is apparently big with some people- not with us. The washer broke and dryer didn't. So, we just got a new washer.  The "almond" color was out of style by then,  thus the  "unmatched" set.  Could not give it away.....
So.......
 
Junk dudes to the rescue-they took the W/D and big ole entertainment center.  They also took some of my garage sale cash :(    It was worth it.  Now all we have to do is load the truck and "shoehorn" some more stuff in to the RV and we will be off on the road "fulltime".  See you down the road....

    Yeah, we had one of those big ol'e entertainment centers. Paul took great pleasure in taking it apart and hauling to the dump, after we couldn't even give it away!

    Let me know where you find a shoe horn to fit all the stuff in the RV. I am optimistic it will all fit. Paul is n.o.t. *sigh*

    Now that was hilarious! You really have material for a stand-up routine. I think I see an on the road employment opportunity for you. You know, lots of famous people have RVs to take them to their next gig. :-)

    Seriously, I know what you mean. Been there. But still I had tears running down my face from laughing.

    So exciting! You are almost there - in less than two days you'll be "on the road." Hope you find spots for all your "stuff," I was surprised at all the little places you can stow things. I'm kind of learning as I go, and you will, too! Have FUN. :)
