We got the nephew graduated on Saturday and had a celebratory lunch with Catherine's family.
Sunday, we had an uneventful drive to Garden City. We have been enjoying time with our friends.
Yesterday, we helped out with some chores to pay our moochdocking fees :).
We adjusted the overhead door in the barn so it will stay down. We fixed a couple of lights and put a detail strip back on the pickup. They asked if I could replace a faucet and I said,"I sure can as long as your shut off valves work".
That was where it went bad. When I turned the valve for the cold water, it not only did not turn off but started to leak- rats!
A plumber was called and they came out and replaced the shut off's and the faucet. They also determined that the Hot water heater was giving up the ghost. So, they will be out again today to repair that.
We have a couple more days here enjoying time with our friends and letting Grace enjoy "her yard".
Saturday, we will head west. We will get to Las Cruces to see mom on Sunday.
It looks like you have a nice moochdocking site. Safe travels.

Is this the royal "we" who adjusted and fixed?? LOL Sounds like you've been busy all right. Plumbing things are THE worst in my mind. Well they were until we ran into solar electric wiring problems.
ReplyDeleteCatherine hands me stuff and holds the ladder :)
DeleteI think most plumbing is possessed... ;c)
