We settled in here for a few days. A hummer came to visit on our first day and we had nothing for it. So, I dragged out the feeder and got it filled yesterday.
It was not long until we got a few visitors to the feeder. There are quite a few finches around as well. We may get a sock to put thistle in today.
We visited mom twice and bought her some new clothes. They wash everything every day and they get threadbare pretty quick. We had dinner with my step dad after our visit.
We had a beautiful sunset with great colors. However, we don't have a very good view from the park.
Today, we get our wash - Yeah!
Finches love sunflower chips too and you don't have to mess with all the seed on the ground uneaten. Wish we had hummers here.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are putting up a bird cafe. The birds are fun to watch. Nice for your mom to get some new duds. Hope she liked them.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at how little birds like Hummers manage to find all these little feeders people put out for them. It's pretty amazing.
