She planted her butt on the sidewalk with our friends and tried to make her case for just staying put. We finally rounded her up and got her in the coach. We overnighted in Van Horn. We could get to Las Cruces in one day but we prefer to break it up.
We arrived in Las Cruces this morning about 11:30 ( now on mountain time). We are at sunny acres RV park and we have the same spot as last time. We got settled in, showered and headed out for our green chili fix.
After lunch, we went up to pay mom a visit. She visited with us for a while but it was apparent that she was tired. So, we settled her in her room for a nap and came back to the rig to get a nap of our own.
I will go to see her again in the morning. We also called our wash guy and made an appointment to get our filthy rig washed and waxed.
We will be here about 10 days.
Wish I could find someone here to wash and wax my rig. What's up with Grace?
ReplyDeleteGrace must really miss the grass of Texas.

I'll second getting the coach cleaned, we're filthy! Hoping we'll be allowed to wash it when we arrive at our summer jobs.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that you were able to visit your mom. The visit was good for both of you.
ReplyDeleteGrace is a little stubborn? Didn't know that...
Washing your rig on the road is always a challenge. Seems finding a campground that allows it is as rare as hen's teeth.
Enjoy your visits with your Mom.
ReplyDeleteDogs never cease to amaze me with some of their quirky behaviour. I guess Grace was quite comfortable where she was.

Glad you had a nice visit with your mom. Poor Grace, I guess she was happy where she was.
ReplyDeleteEnvying you the wash and wax that someone ELSE is doing. I know your mom must have been very pleased to see you.
