Our friends Brett and Orla, had us over last night for some Thai food and preseason football. Bailey welcomed us, with the gift of a shoe :). We enjoyed the evening and will miss seeing them, when we leave the area. It has been great to get to spend some time with them again. We also enjoyed the game. The Buc's first and second teams played well and it was fun to watch Ryan Tannehill (Rookie QB, from Big Spring, Texas) play well in relief for Miami. Good for him.
Some of the fabulous females are coming over this evening to see Phiona. This morning we picked up a few things for entertaining and came upon this Limpkin family trying to cross a busy street. Father ran right in front of us and Mother and chicks were stranded. We stopped and slowed down the traffic, while they crossed. I am not sure why they wanted across so badly, but they were determined.
I love Florida because of all the wonderful wildlife. It's too bad it has to cross paths with traffic, so often.
Tomorrow we have been invited for burgers and pool time with our friends Pat and Dee. Can't wait-- it is perfect pool weather. Have a great weekend everyone..

ReplyDeleteTannehill was the QB for Texas A&M when I worked on the stat crew for them... I bet sometime this season he will come in as a wide reciever because he was pretty good as that too at A&M.
