A change of scenery, making plans

 This morning, we decided to drive over to the local park for our walk.  It is a nice park with ball fields (all kinds) and tennis courts.  They also have a 1.6 mile loop trail around the park.
 We went twice around and enjoyed the new scenery.  It was getting pretty hot towards the end since there is not much shade.
We saw three more sandhill couples.  I don't think I ever remember seeing so many. They are everywhere.  I love seeing them and listening to them call.  

We got a note from home that Catherine has been summoned to jury duty. We will move up our departure from here a day and we should be fine for getting back in time for her to do her civic duty.  
We made an appt for Phiona to get her state inspection while we are in San Antonio and we will need to get her weighed. We should be good to go for getting registered.
We have plans with friends tonight and the next few days. I will be glad to get home so we can rest :).

    Hang 'em high! No mercy! And that's just to prepare you to deal with the Texas DMV. ;c)

    Hope that the jury duty works out well. Mixed feelings on it, admire your returning to do the civic duty but wonder if you'll actually be seated or dismissed. Don't know which is better for you.
