Our superbowl party went off without a hitch. I managed to do all the grilling without getting wet. It was a bit cold so we pulled in some extra chairs and had 11 people watching the game pretty comfortably inside the coach (we did have to play musical chairs a couple of times).
I really did not feel great on Sunday. I have had a painful ear for a few days but I thought it was just trapped water. Monday I woke up feeling very puny. I slept most of the day. Enough of that -
This morning, Catherine took me to Bay Area Quick Care to see the nurse practitioner. She took one look in my ears and said "Oh Wow! those are really infected". I figured as much. I hate going to the doctor but this was really painless. I recommend them if you are in this area and need a doc. I got an antibiotic and some ear drops and should be on the road to right soon. Some friends came down from Houston today and we are grilling some fish tonight. See you down the road..

Feel better soon. Earaches are awfully painful. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in quickly.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteOuch! So you couldn't hear all the cheering when the Giants won?
ReplyDeleteGlad you are taking care. Earaches and toothaches can really put you out of commission for a while. Take care and feel better soon:o))
ReplyDeleteGet well soon. Ear infections can really make you get vertigo. Not much fun so be careful.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Earaches are terrible but I imagine the antibiotic has fixed you all up by now. Don't you always wonder where these sorts of things just come from out of the blue??
ReplyDeleteI hate going to the doctor too. Hope you feel better soon.
