We spent a fair amount of time in the RV park the last few days. It has been overcast and windy. There is a guy here who makes RV screens and tire covers. I got him to make some covers for the slide bottoms. The top side of our bins and the slide mechanism get very dirty and dusty. These give it a nicer look and hopefully will keep it clean.
This morning the sun was shining brightly. One of our friends purchased some new binoculars yesterday, so we decided to head out to some birding spots to test them out. Wow, those ducks are so much more vibrant in the bright sunshine.

| Black-Necked Stilts We drove over to Charlie's Pasture to see if we could find some spoonbills. Yea! We found them! This time I got a better picture. |

We have really enjoyed our time here in Port Aransas. I can't believe we are leaving next week. Hopefully, we will get a few more good weather days before we leave.
Boy this looks like a great place. On to my list it goes! Terrific pictures. And you know the names of all those ducks. I don't even know muscovey when I see them. :-(
ReplyDeleteSure wish there was someone in my park who made all those covers. Good choice on your part to take advantage of his trade.
Those slide covers are a good idea!
ReplyDeleteVery cool pics of the birds! Safe travels
ReplyDeleteLove the bird photos!! Looks like a great area to spend some winter time;o))
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your month is up either! We've decided to stay until the 1st of April. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and we can get some good beach time in and some kayaking done.

ReplyDeleteThat's very clever, the slide cover. I like that a lot, it's very "Ducky". ;c)
