Quick Paddle

Yesterday, turned out to be a beautiful day.  We decided to take the kayak out for a quick paddle.  The first order of business was to patch a hole.  Not sure how we got that, but I think we need to store it more carefully.  It was a beautiful day.  It looked good for some fishing.

 
The birds were doing well. So, I decided to try my hand. I caught 3 spotted trout. Too small to keep but still fun.


We also saw about 12 dolphin. 
It was a nice day, but even the modest winds required a lot of paddling.  They carry you along way in a hurry. We paddled so much my arms are sore today but we didn't really get anywhere.  Not sure what we will do today.  See you down the road...

    Those breezes will keep you on your toes.
    Not sure it'll ever be perfectly calm around here though.
    Hope the soreness is short-term.

    I know all about stiff winds and sore arms. Hope they aren't sore long. But to paddle with dolphins....sounds wonderful!!

    Nice catch with that fish. Did you do it by hand or with a fishing pole?
