Yesterday, we visited the International Space Hall of Fame in Alamogordo. It is a nice little museum which has some interesting information about many of the key people involved in the exploration of space.
Catherine tried on a Mercury capsule for size--too small.
When we got back up the mountain, we had another little rain shower. There still has not been enough rain to open the forest. All those great trails.... We will have to hike them on our next visit. I got up early today. So I thought I would try to catch a sunrise, and look who was still hanging around :).
We are moving on today- down to Carlsbad and back to triple digit temps. See you down the road....
So I guess it's good that you didn't become a shuttle captain. Good luck with those triple digit temps. Remind me again......why are you going there? Why don't you come on up to the Tetons with us where it's coooooollllll.
ReplyDeleteNo worries about crashing the shuttle, just don't try that in your Suncruiser! :c0
ReplyDeleteI think Catherine looked great in that Mercury space capsule, living in a MH she'e used to tight spaces.
Stay cool, don't like the sound of those triple digit temps.

we would love to join you in the Tetons-However, We have a few more transition items to take care of at the home base and we are hosting an RVing Women rally in Branson, MO in Aug. No worries though next year we will plan for summer at higher altitudes where it is cooler.
