Yesterday afternoon, we got a tiny bit of rain 5/100 of an inch to be exact. It was just enough to cover the ground. It did cool things off nicely. So, we sat outside and watched the hummers.
We have quite a few in the area now. They are so fun to watch. I finally figured out a good place to stand in order to get a picture of one at the feeder. The clouds in the sky made for a beautiful sunset. We have a chance at more rain today....fingers crossed!
We are off to midland this morning to visit the petroleum museum and have some Thai food. See you down the road....
Rain is predicted in the afternoons for the next 4 days here at Bear Lake State Park. The lake certainly does not need it. I'll try to blow it down your way. I certainly have enough hot air. :-) Mmmmmmm Thai, but not toooo hot.
ReplyDeleteDo they give out free samples at the petroleum musuem? With the price of gas, that kind of sample would be something nice to get. ;c)

We love watching the hummingbirds at our feeder. It doesn't take much to entertain us. . . :-)
