Hanging out in West Texas

 We have had a nice few days just hanging out with our friends in west Texas.  The deer come to visit morning and night .
 There are lots of humming birds.  It is always fun to watch them feeding and fighting.  
We have watched lots of College Football and U.S. Open Tennis.
Grace has mostly ignored Walter (the cat) but she has tried to play with his little fuzzy mice.
The weather has been hot during the day but cooler at night.  Today we should have a cooler day and a night in the high 60's- yes!
Tomorrow, we will head for New Mexico where the weather looks to be about perfect for us.  High is in the 80's -lows in the mid 60's.

    Aren't these nights in the 60's wonderful? We're sure enjoying sleeping with the window open again and even have had to use two blankets!

    On your way back to Florida come see us. There are campsites available here for rent. Of course, that's assuming we'll still be here (and we hope we will be here until November).

    West Texas is definitely a place I want to visit but probably not in August or even early September. Glad you are getting those great cool nights. Your NM weather sounds perfect.
