We had a short trip from Salisaw, OK where we overnighted at the KOA (good spot for an overnight). We pulled in about 2:00PM, just as the TB Bucs were letting the game slip away and the Cowboys were dominating the Rams. I just love Sirus radio :)
We picked out a spot and put our dish up. It took a while, but the dish picked out a clear path through the trees and locked on. The breeze's butt is to the sun. We have TV and a view of the lake from the front windshield.
Catherine has a place in the shade for her chair where she can read and enjoy a glass of vino. It does not get much better than this :)
Today, we are going to do a hike and check out the Mather Lodge. It was closed for renovation the last time we were here.
You are so right...It really doesn't get any better than this :)
ReplyDeletewe really loved that park, glad you two are enjoying it...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the lodge. It was closed last time we were there too. What site are you in??
ReplyDeleteHa Ha! What a hoot. After reading your blog for several years, I've finally got your names straight. With your picture at the top of the blog, I always thought Catherine was on the left, and Jo Beth was on the right. I did figure out Grace a long time ago. ;)
ReplyDeleteI almost forgot, how do you pronounce the name of the park you are staying in?
ReplyDeleteA nice place to cool your heels. Nice that you have a view out the front of the Breeze. :c)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice, peaceful place to relax awhile.
ReplyDeleteI camped at Petit Jean as a kid. There used to be a car museum on the other side of the lake that belonged to one of the Rockefellers. It's worth going to see if it's still there.
ReplyDeleteNice looking park and you have a great spot to relax in.
