I flew back to New Mexico yesterday to visit Mom. The facility she is in has a new director and new nurse. I want to meet them. I saw her yesterday. She seems to be doing well. She did not really know me. This morning that may be different or maybe not.
The facility is doing some nice renovations . We got a tour yesterday. The construction manager was there. He says mom likes to help:) I bet they have quite a time keeping her out of stuff even though they have built some temporary walls to protect the residents. It looks like it will be very nice when it is finished.
My first flight in two years was uneventful but I can't say I missed air travel. Traveling in the RV is much more fun. I am glad we have the time to do it. That is all for now...
Glad you found your mom well. Travelling in the RV is more fun and more restful but if you need to get there quickly, it's still nice to be able to jump on a plane.

Have a good visit with your mom. Glad to hear she still likes to "help" the staff. It's important for her to feel useful.
