Not much going on. We are just waiting to close on the condo- Friday. The guy came out and fixed the windshield on Tuesday morning. All went well with that operation. We took the breeze out for a drive over to Gulfport. Our insurance guy wanted to take pictures and we thought we should drive it some before putting it in storage. We had no problems except I could not get the generator started and we had a warning light :(. The Tiffin guy came over Friday and of course the generator fired right up for him. He also explained that the light was just exhaust temp and it would likely come on when we were sitting still or in traffic- no issue. So far, our only complaint with the breeze is the fan on the fridge is loud (cheap) but the surround sound works so good that it drowns it out :).
We have gone out to a couple of good meals -pizza at mellow mushroom and really good, I mean really good- Cuban at La Septima in Brandon.
It has been pretty dry since we have been in Tampa but we are in for a soaking week.
We will move over to a hotel in St. Pete on Friday and we will put the rig in storage as soon as we get a good weather day to move it over.
We found a place to store her undercover with a 30amp hook up to keep the batteries charged up.
Just waiting......

Waiting is always the hardest part!
ReplyDeleteSeems like you've got all your ducks in a row there. Nicely done. Won't be long now. Thanks for the Cuban recommendation in Brandon. We spent A LOT of time there at Lithia Springs while David was in treatment but didn't eat out much. He wasn't into eating. I did spend some time at Campbell's Dairyland on Parsons Ave - ice cream of course. ;-)) Check it out next time you are there.
ReplyDeleteWe will have to try the Cuban. Sounds really good right now.
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the rain this coming week.
Have fun painting!
Ah yes, the good old debugging process on a new motorhome. Nice that you found a covered storage place, with electric even. What a score!
ReplyDeleteJust goes to show when it's meant to be everything falls into place. Glad you found a great pizza place to celebrate your successes! :c)
Great looking pizza alright.
ReplyDeleteHaving a covered storage area for your rig is a real bonus. It's the hot sun that does most of the damage on these units.
