All is well here

We made it through the Andrea just fine.  A tornado spawned by the storm hit just a few miles from our new condo. It then passed over the Breeze's storage facility and over our hotel. That gave us about 30 minutes of tension. There was not too much damage and no reports of people injured in our area.  Good deal.

These guys were back to work digging up the hotel grounds soon after the storm moved out.

There is a whole family of them living on the grounds.  They are fun to watch but I am glad it is not my lawn :)

Go Spurs!

  2. You're lucky to get to watch the armadillos. Seems to me most of them are road kill in Texas. ;)

  4. Glad to hear you made it through safe and sound. For just a tropical storm, she packed quite a punch!

  5. I guess the tornado was attracted to the Breeze by its name. Maybe you should consider changing it? Rock? Anvil? Mt. Everest? ;c)

  6. Glad you are all OK. We are on the South Carolina coast and got some wind and rain, but nothing very bad at all:o)) We'll take this type of storm for the rest of the season!!

  8. Wow I'd have had some tense moments too if a tornado went right over my head. Glad it was concentrating on getting somewhere else. And I thought all Florida had to worry about was hurricanes. I thought the tornados hung out in Kansas. Silly me. Great pictures of the armidillos. Love the sharp detail in that last one.
