I want my RV!

 Traveling is oh so much better with an RV.  It is much easier just to park it and not worry about dragging all your stuff in and trying to find a place to eat.  We made it to San Antonio Friday to visit with Catherine's family.
Yesterday, We went to the McNay museum with Catherine's mom to see a special exhibit "Norman Rockwell- Behind the Camera".  It had many of his works along with the photographs that were taken to provide the reference for them.  It was really wonderful and provided great insight into how he captured "real people".  I thought this exhibit was especially well done.  It will be here through labor day.  

Today, we will be having a brunch for Father's day with Catherine's family.  Tuesday, we will head to west Texas to visit our friends and load up our stuff and start the trek back to Florida.

    I always liked the Rockwell paintings. Wish I could see that exhibit.

    Me too, Rockwell is a favorite of mine. I'd love to see the exhibit. I agree with you about RV travel. So much easier. Enjoy your visits.

    I love Rockwell's paintings, he captured life so perfectly. I'd love to see that exhibit, too.

    Good luck on your (RV-less) travels, sorry you'll have to use gas station rest rooms. :c( One more reason I love traveling in our RV. ;c)
