We were trying a new eatery-
"Hamburger Mary's". It is a chain but does not have a chain feel. When we walked up, I had a hunch we were going to like this place. The event of the evening was "Drag Queen Bingo".
Our friends were ready in their feather boa's. Ours are packed, so we just had go naked.
First, we had drinks and burgers. Catherine had the "black bean burger" and I had the "spicy blue beef burger". They were both very good.
Then it was time for bingo- Drag Queen bingo. The drag queen called the game. The proceeds went to the American Heart Association. We got to throw our discarded cards at the winners as they did a victory lap around the bar. It was a very good time, even though we did not win.
It is a great place for burgers and bingo. It was also good to just have some fun.
We cleaned some more and moved most of the stuff out of the rig today.
We head to Texas tomorrow to get our furniture. We will take time to visit. We plan to be back here June 26th. Our friend Vicki will continue painting our condo while we are gone. She is a professional. We are having her do the rooms everyone will see - the living room and guest bedroom.
Until next time - Eat, Drink and be ....Mary!

LOVE the post title!! Sounds like my kind of fun. Boas and bingo, two of my favorite things. Next time I'm down your way, I want to go along assuming this is a regular gathering and they don't mind party crashers. Very nice to have painter friends. I could use a few of those if you have any to spare. Have a safe trip to Texas and back.
ReplyDeleteDrag Queen Bingo! Finally, an activity where I'd fit in... :CD
ReplyDeleteMy boas are getting dusty from lack of use!
We went to Hamburger Mary's in Palm Springs - what a great place, lots of fun and terrific burgers too!
ReplyDeleteUnlike Paul, I can't say I've ever owned boas!
You two are a hoot!! That looked like a great evening:o))
ReplyDeleteSafe Travels.........
That place looks like a lot of fun! The food didn't look too shabby either :)
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip to Texas.
That was a good excuse for not wearing your costumes, huh?
ReplyDeleteNow that's a plan. Have someone else paint while you're gone!
Safe travels to Texas
