All buttoned up in Storage- First Storm

We decided this morning to go ahead and move the rig into her storage spot.  We are expecting several inches of rain over the next few days and we would just as soon get the rig put undercover and avoid cleaning everything up from all that rain.  We were also getting bored just sitting around Lazy Days.

So, we burned a few more Marriott points.  The rig is snug in her new spot and we are snug in a hotel room.  We need to get her some new tire covers.  These are from the Phaeton and she looks like she is wearing her older sibling's clothes that are too big :).  I guess she is.  It is weird- putting the rig in storage.
We have already had to go back twice, because we forgot stuff we need in the hotel.  It is funny how you get used to having all your stuff with you.

The weather channel just announced that we have the first tropical storm of the season-Andrea.  When we moved here 18 years ago, we had  the first named storm that week.  We think it is a good omen.   Looks like it will move north of us but we could still get drenched. We will see....

  1. Batten down the hatches! Nice storage facility, the Breeze will love you for it. :c)

  2. Stay safe! It's a bit early for named storms already but hey - what can you do!

  3. I'm not sure I could get used to not having all my stuff with me anymore :) Hope the storm misses you entirely!

  4. Good luck with the storm - at least your rig should stay nice and dry.

  5. Looks like a sweet spot for the rig. Amazing how those storms know to show up right around the beginning of June and then keep coming back all summer. I heard all you got was rain but that Wesley Chapel got the worst of it. Glad you are high and dry in a hotel. Nice to have those points.

  6. What a nice place to store the Breeze. Maybe she'll grow into her tire covers.

Last year we had TS Debbie in June and then a pretty good hurricane season. Maybe this year will be the same.

  7. I recently added my spices to a drawer rather than a cupboard. What a simple, yet functional difference! To see more info please visit http://essayswriters.org/paper-writing/. I can actually see what I am grabbing!
