On The Road Again

I have not posted in a while.  We have mainly been hanging out at home doing some chores and taking care of stuff like hair cuts. We left Garden City, headed for Las Cruces about 9:00 yesterday.   We managed to dodge all the oil field traffic and get to Van Horn about 12:30.  

We could easily get to Las Cruces, in one day.  It is just under 400 miles.  But, we are not in a big hurry and it was quite windy, on the road.

 So, we were happy to have an early stopping point.
We have some beautiful Mountain views, at this park.
We will be in Las Cruces, for a month- visiting my mom and my aunts, volunteering for Habitat and catching a couple of our nephew's football games.
