More Fungus Fun

After Sherry's inspiring post about the mushrooms, we decided to get a few pics of the ones we have been seeing in these parts.  It is definitely mushroom season.  We did a really nice hike in Vogel State Park yesterday- The Bear Hair Gap Trail.  I forgot the camera and so all these wonderful fungi are brought to you courtesy of Catherine's iPhone.
We have no idea what any of them are- we just thought they were cool.  This is a good hike up to an overlook and a nice loop.  We love a good loop trail. It is always good to see something different on the way out.
After the hike, we had a good lunch at the "Sawmill" which specializes in local "farm to table" offerings.  The fried okra and peach cobbler got a big thumbs up from both of us.

We were planning to leave Sunday but now we are waffling a bit.  The mornings have gotten a bit cooler up here and it is still raining cats and dogs back home.  It is nice to be able to stay a bit longer if we feel like it.  We are enjoying it here and the Bounder has proven to be very comfortable.

We will probably decide tomorrow after we visit the farmers market- one more time :)  If we stay longer maybe Karen and Al will take us on a successful bear hunt.
