We Made It!

We made it back to Florida- just in time for the hottest part of the summer :).

We had a great trip! But, it is good to be back in the condo.  We have a few days of cleaning out and cleaning the Breeze in front of us.

The trip went smoothly and as an added bonus those rough Louisiana roads fixed my black tank sprayer.  It had gotten clogged or the check valve was stuck.  The last few times I dumped, no water would go through the sprayer.  When we arrived at the storage facility, I tried it again and it worked.  I was happy to be able to give the tank a good rinse before putting the breeze in storage.  It is great to have a dump station right at our storage place.

Overall, we were pleased with how the Breeze performed.  We did some pretty steep climbs and she did fine and the engine brake worked like a charm for slowing us down on those steep declines.  We hardly had to use the brakes at all.

When I washed the rig in Cortez, Co I noticed that there is a bubble forming on the roof and when we had heavy rain in San Antonio we got a little water in the bedroom and in a bin.  So, we will be contacting Tiffin and it appears a trip to Red Bay will be in our future.  She is stored under cover.  So, we will not have to worry about any issues until we can make the trip to Red Bay to get her fixed up.

  3. It's time for you to head to the UP of Michigan. There is no temp predicted over the 60's in the next 10 days!
Sorry you have to go to Red Bay. It's not a bad place to be though.

  5. Arg! A bubble in the roof! Hope it turns out to be a minor issue, your storage places sounds like a winner, covered and a dump station, too. I've never been lucky enough to find a place that good.

    Welcome home! :c)
