I put in a sunrise picture for a change. We have been busy since arriving home. We had a list of things to do and we are making headway. We ditched our Mifi with millenicom for cable internet. They recently raised the price considerably. We can up our data on our phones when we travel and use our iphones for hotspots. It saves us $15 bucks a month and the Mifi did not work well here.
I got signed up for Habitat next week. We got all our stuff out of the Breeze. We still need to take it and fill the tank with diesel and put in some additive for storage. We also need to do a little more cleaning.
Yesterday, I decided to do a little fishing. I got my tackle out to find that my reel had jammed up completly.
I have an old school closed reel because I have never been good with an open faced reel. I tend to knot them up. However, I decided that this is a skill I need to conquer. Being able to cast further would be helpful fishing off the seawall. I bike over to the local bait & tackle shop and the very helpful guy sells me a new reel at a reasonable price. I watch a few you-tube videos and hit the seawall for some casting.
I did have a few mishaps but I did not have to cut any knots out of the line or untangle a large mess- a couple of little ones. After about an hour, I was getting pretty good. That is when the trouble happened- I leaned down to get my water bottle and my back seized up.
It is a good thing I live with a massage therapist. Today it is better, but still pretty painful. As you may recall, last fall I cut my feet up trying to retrieve a hung up lure. Now, I wrenched my back- I may have to give up fishing.
Glad Katherine was able to help! Must be nice ilving with a massage therapist.
