Chill'in @ Buckhorn Lake

We had an uneventful drive from Ft. Stockton
to Buckhorn Lake Resort in Kerrville. We arrived about 1PM-  Our first impressions- Very Very nice.

We just hung out yesterday afternoon and enjoyed the resort.  We are in the adult section and have the whole place to ourselves. The week after July 4 is a good time to visit. If you don't mind a little hot weather :). I had a refreshing swim in the pool.  Grace had a nice long walk in the green grass.  She is glad to be back in the land of green grass.

Today, we will visit Kerrville in the morning and just enjoy the resort in the afternoon. We have a short drive to San Antonio tomorrow.

    That's a beautiful campground. . . . but also where I fell off my bike and broke my arm. Unfortunately not great memories for us. :-(
