Fishing, Paddling and Building

Monday, we got out fairly early and went to the grocery, produce stand and to Total Wine to get supplies for the week.  In the afternoon, Catherine baked some muffins and I decided to do a little fishing.  I caught a couple of small pin fish and then I caught my first ever flounder.  It was very weird.  I thought I was just pulling up a bunch of grass because it just felt like something heavy on the line.  Now, we have a couple of flounder filets in the freezer.  It is great to be able to walk out and fish in my back yard :)

Tuesday, We rode our bikes down to the beach to do our morning walk.  We stopped to watch the Jet Pack vendor getting set up for business.  

It is a little crazy, but I think it looks like fun.

Tuesday afternoon a vendor came to our complex and brought stand up paddle boards and kayaks for us to test out.  It was great fun.  Both Catherine and I successfully got up on the boards and paddled around without going in the drink. We tried a couple of different boards and a couple of different kayaks.  It was lots of fun especially when we were joined by dolphin :)

Today, I worked at Habitat and Catherine got a haircut.  Things are just rocking right along.
