This morning we had new visitors in the bay. We often see dolphin and many seabirds but today was the first time we have seen Manatee :). Catherine spotted them first and was quick with the iphone camera.
We saw tails first, then noses.
As we walked along they moved out into the sun. We got a better look and it appeared to be a cow and calf.
Very exciting.
After our walk, Catherine moved out to the patio to enjoy her coffee and do her Sudoku puzzle.
This blue jay wanted a closer look at what she was up to.
It flew right up and landed on the arm of her chair and then jumped over her to the other arm. She shooed him off but he came right back. She retreated inside and it finally flew away- not sure what that was about.
Today, we are just going to hang out and enjoy.
I think I could just sit on your patio for days and watch that water :)

You've got a great front row seat to a lot of outdoor action. That Blue Jay must be quite used to humans.
