Watching The World Go By

We spend a lot of time out on the patio watching for dolphin. We have not seen a lot lately and I can never get a picture when they come out of the water. I did manage a picture of a fin the other day.

 I know the picture is a bit weak but I swear it was a dolphin. I am sure I will get a better shot one of these days.  It is easier to get pictures of the more frequent travelers on our waterway.  We get a lot of these....

Apparently these "jet packs" are the new rage on the beaches for thrill seekers. It lifts you up about 25 ft out of the water and can go about 25 mph.  It costs $250 for 45 minutes to ride the thing.  

I guess that is not too bad considering they cost about $100,000 to buy.  It looks kind of fun but I think I will keep my $250.

It makes for pretty good entertainment now that the dolphin seem to have gone to find cooler waters.

We will be visiting with friends both Saturday and Sunday and then will be getting the rig loaded up to get back on the road next week.  Have a good weekend.
