Happy Mother's Day

 I dug out our present for Catherine's mother this morning.  We got it in Mesilla Park last week.  Now, I am thinking -  we should have gone with flowers.  Too late now - just have to hope she likes the chicken as much as we do :)  We plan on spending the day with the family today.

We are really liking this KOA in San Antonio.  We changed spots yesterday so the sat dish could get a clear shot at the sky. The staff could not have been more helpful in getting us relocated.  There is a bike/walking trail that runs right by the campground and it is also a quicker trip to Catherine's parents house. There are also guys who will wash your RV :).  I know- I am obsessive.  The rig was a "mudball' after our soggy trip from West Texas. We got a wash yesterday afternoon. Now, she is gleaming again.
 
We got some sad news from home base this morning. Our friend's little dog lost her battle with pancreatitis last night.  Please send warm thoughts their way.  It is so hard to lose a pet.

    Hey I'd love to have that chicken as my Mother's Day gift. Tell your mom I volunteer if she didn't like it!

    So sorry to hear about your friend's dog. It's never easy to lose a pet but harder if they aren't of an age that you expect it. I hope s/he suffered little if at all.
