Again With The Snow!

I do not know what is with us and the weather.  We are like a magnet for weather.  It snowed again in West Texas.  We dodged the first two but got the full force of this one.  Nearby, Midland got a record 10 inches of snow and we got at least 5 right here in Garden City.

The Deer Family
Oh well- the moisture is badly needed out here, and I don't have to shovel it or get out and drive in it.  So, we can sit in our cozy rig or in the house with a big fire and just enjoy the beauty of it. Our only outdoor chore today, is to fill up the feeders to keep the birds fed. Good deal!
Our deer family came last night for dinner.  They brought a friend. We had not seen them since arriving back in G.C.   They look happy and healthy. It was good to see them again.
We did have a series of power surges last night just before the ball game (Go Bama).  I came outside to check the rig and it appears our surge protecter did its job.  While the power was surging in the house, the time delay on the surge protecter kept it from surging in the rig.  It was all over in about 5 minutes and steady power was restored. Those surge protectors are expensive, but I am pleased that we have it.  That is about all the excitement from here. We still plan on departing Saturday or Sunday for San Antonio.  See you down the road...

  5. Wow! You must have missed Howard and Linda's seminar on snowbirding. The key word is south. Better move to Port Aransas quick! Stay warm!

  6. SNOW? OH NO! Well you don't have to shovel, or drive to work or do anything but kick back and check on the surge protector. Don't you LOVE them!

We've got an appointment with the doc you recommended. You're the best! Thanks!!

  7. We're enjoying Florida and no snow. Next winter you must try it. The deer family looks nice in the snow.
