The weather here was beautiful yesterday- sunny and mid 40's. It should warm to the mid 50's today and continue warming through the week- very nice.
We have been trying to decide whether to work camp or just be tourists for the next year. We have decided just to tour for a while. Our current plan is to visit Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce National parks this summer and then head across the gulf states and winter in Florida - "the plan" is always subject to change but that is it for now :).
We will be hanging around here until Saturday, then moving over to Las Cruces. I have scheduled a wash and wax for the rig on Tuesday. Wednesday, we head back to Texas.

ReplyDeleteYour plan is just what we did last summer and this winter. Hit those National Parks Yellowstone, Teton and Glacier too. It was fabulous.
ReplyDeleteBut make reservations as soon as possible at those national parks if you want to stay at their campgrounds which is much nicer in all cases than having to drive in from outside in my opinion. We felt we would have liked to stay 2 lazy weeks in each place but didn't reserve enough time and I did my reservations last January.
I know the story of no December cake. December birthdays are bummers but happy birthday again Catherine.
Glad to hear you are going to take some time to see the sights. So much to see and do in this wonderful country. Love the National Parks and will be following along.
