Great Day For A Drive
We hit the road about 9:30this morning. We had planned to stop at Loves and grab a subway for lunch. When we got to the Loves, we did not need fuel. We decided to press on. We stopped at flying J in Pecos- no subway :(. Just a Denny's. We are not Denny's fans so I cooked us a green chili, veggie burger while we were rolling down the road and we stopped at this nice picnic area. We got back on the road and landed at the Van Horn KOA about 2pm.. We should get to Deming about 2pmtomorrow. See you down the road...
OH green chili veggie burger you really are a southwesterner. Makes my mouth burn just to type the words. Cooking while rolling tsk tsk tsk.... :-)

Yes, somehow Denny's misses the mark. Subway is always good. But home cooking is the best.

Subway is our favorite traveling lunch stop. At least we feel like we are eating a little healthier than McDonalds.
