Balloon Fiesta Day 1

 We left Enchanted Trails at 7:15 this morning.  On the way, there were some balloons in the sky.  Today is the first official day of the fiesta.
 We pulled in just as they started registering people at 8:00.  The staff is great and they got us registered and and parked in no time.  There are hundreds of RV's.  



After getting parked, we grabbed the camera to get some shots of the balloons.

The excitement in the air is palpable.  It is a really exciting event and set up nicely for RV's.  The morning balloons have all landed.  We will finish setting up and check out the area.

    Wow, I can't wait to see what you find!! We were camped in view of the festival in 2002 a week before the festival. Had to leave as we did not have reservations. So we never got to see all the ballons.;((

    This is GREAT. I've always wanted to see this but I don't like crowds that big so you are my eyes. Keep those pictures coming.

    It is my dream to go to the Balloon Fest next year. We just bought our RV three weeks ago and are still in the driveway. My husband retires in December, but we have work on the house to do so don't expect to get out of here for at least another year.
